Decision Making Process
- There will be constituted a decision-making body known as Consultative Committee which will take the decisions of the party by consensus and or by simple majority.
- The aforesaid Consultative Committee may consist of 17 members, out of whom 9 members shall constitute the quorum for their meeting.
Composition of the Consultative Committee
- 8 members of the Consultative Committee will be drawn from among scholars, persons who have achieved eminence in their respective fields and intellectuals, known as “Appointed Members of Consultative Committee”.
- The aforesaid “Appointed Members of Consultative Committee” will serve the Consultative Committee on the invitation of the Supreme Council.
- The Appointed Members of Consultative Committee will not involve themselves in the political activities of any party either directly or indirectly.
- The Appointed Members of Consultative Committee once appointed shall hold office for a period of 3 years and his term of office can be renewed unless it is terminated by two third of the members of the Politbureau before the expiry of the period on the ground of inconsistency with the objectives and policies of the Party.
- Secretary General, Chairman, Treasurer, National Organizer, Propaganda Secretary, Secretary for Media and Information, National Coordinator and Working Committee Secretary shall be other members of the Consultative Committee known as “Elected Members of Consultative Committee”
- The Elected Members of Consultative Committee once elected shall hold office for a period of 1 year or till new members are elected at the Annual General Meeting unless it is terminated by two third of the members of the Politbureau before the expiry of the period on the ground of inconsistency with the objectives and policies of the Party.
